1. Ego | Drum lamp shade by Daniel Croyle

Of course, the only lampshade you need! We love this witty lampshade designed and illustrated by Daniel Croyle.  The illustration and product is a comment on inflated egos; knowing when to champion a relationship and when not too ….don’t you know!  We think your room will stand out from the ‘interior’ crowd with this captivating and beautiful original lamp shade.

2. Mirror Ball | Tom Dixon

This beautiful pendant lampshade is Tom’s take on this 60’s design classic and inspired by the famous space helmet, and by disco balls. Mirror Ball is lightweight yet robust and reflects its environment, projecting downward ambient light. Available in the original chrome finish, and in gold, with two different designs; pendant and tripod stand, this versatile collection offers a lamp for every function.

3. Banana Lamp | Seletti

Whats not to love?  A banana that lights up, come on you need this! Praised by the minions, the ‘ba-na-na’ light is a comic genius in our book. Seletti, if you’re listening, we think the cable should be gold or cream though!

The Best Side Tables

I need a side table next to my sofa, my dog keeps knocking over my drinks. So whilst researching, I thought I would share some of my favourites for modern stylish living.  A side table is not only a great practical addition to a room but can also inject some great drama and style. Don’t forget to measure your space – a top tip is always to lay some plain paper on the floor that equals the dimensions of your proposed purchase.  You don’t want to keep knocking into it and get wine over all over your books!

Digital Dogs

My Digital Dogs! I painted these lovely girls and boys in Photoshop, inspired by David Hockney’s digital brilliance and a request from a friend for a portrait of her Border Terrier ‘Rufty’.

I have always painted and drawn my own dog a Beagle, known as ‘Heart Warrior’ in this new collection below, but drawing other people’s dogs became a new challenge to really capture the dog’s presence and personality.

These paintings below have been made into a ‘pack’ (see what we did there?) of x7 greetings cards, left blank for any occasion.  We are hopefully going to get them onto the site next week ready for order! woof!
